Processing activities

Visiting our website
When you visit our website, we use cookies for the website to function, which you can read more about in our cookie policy

Communication with potential customers
When you have questions about our site or want to hear more about our services, you can contact us via:

  • Contact form

  • Email

  • Telephone

Through this, we will process your personal information to initiate a dialogue with you, e.g. answer questions about our services. We only process the information that you give us when we communicate.

Typically, we will process the following general information: name, email, phone number.

Our legal basis for the processing of this personal data is Article 6, section 1 litra f of the Data Protection Regulation.

Newsletter
We have a newsletter that is voluntary to sign up for - and you can always unsubscribe from it again.

The purpose of the newsletter is to send emails with new information from the company, which may deal with new content on the website, advertising our services.

We will only send you emails if you have given your active consent to this. It requires in the first instance that you enter your email address, to which we subsequently send a confirmation email, where you have the opportunity to unsubscribe.

Our legal basis to process your personal data (i.e. the email address) in connection with the newsletter is Article 6, section 1 litra a of the Data Protection Regulation.

We will process your personal information as long as you are still subscribed to the newsletter. By unsubscribing from the newsletter, we will also stop sending this to you.

By unsubscribing from the newsletter, we keep your now previous consent for 2 years after it has most recently been used due to limitation period, cf. the Consumer Ombudsman's spam guide section 11.3.

Video and photography
For our events, seminars, and network groups, we always, as a general rule, record video and take still photos for marketing purposes. Should you have questions about this, you can always contact our data manager at nemco@nemco.dk.

Contact form
When using our contact form on the website, we process the specified personal information for the purpose of being able to return the inquiry. The personal information provided will not be linked to Nemco's newsletter.

The processing of personal data takes place under legitimate interest (the balancing of interests’ rule of the Data Protection Regulation), as we weigh that the visitor him-/herself has provided information with a view to being contacted.

General contact information is collected in the form of name, e-mail, company, and telephone number. In addition, we ask for a message that elaborates on what the inquiry is about. Collection of personal information is only done for information given by the visitor him-/herself.

If, on the basis of the inquiry, a collaboration or customer relationship is initiated, or a closer relationship is otherwise created, the personal information will be stored in accordance with the relationship. If not, personal information will be automatically deleted within 6 months from the last correspondence.

Job applications
We welcome job applications in order to assess whether they match an employment need in our company.

If you send your job application to us, then our legal basis for processing your personal data is the Article 6, section 1 litra f of the Data Protection Regulation.

If you have submitted an unsolicited application, we will immediately assess whether your application is relevant, and then delete your information again if there is no match.

If you have applied for a posted job, we will delete your application in the event that you are not hired, and immediately after the right candidate has been found for the job.

If you are part of a recruitment process and/or are employed for the job, we will provide you with separate information on how we process your personal information in this connection.

Data processors
Few can handle everything themselves, and the same goes for us. We therefore have partners, and use suppliers, some of which may be data processors.

External suppliers can, for example, provide systems for organising our work, services, consulting, IT hosting, or marketing:

  • ActiveCampaigns - for marketing (newsletters, invitations to events, etc.).

  • Cookiebot - for handling cookies and visitors' preferences.

  • Google Analytics - for the processing and presentation of traffic on our website.

  • Jotform - for registering subscribers via contact form or subscribing to newsletters.

It is our responsibility to ensure that your personal information is processed properly. That is why we place high demands on our partners, and our partners must guarantee that your personal information is protected.

We therefore enter into agreements with companies (data processors) that handle personal data on our behalf in order to increase the security of your personal data.

Disclosure of personal information

We do not pass on your personal information to third parties.

Profiling and automated decisions

We do not make profiling or automated decisions.

Third country transfers

We basically use data processors in the EU / EEA, or data processors which store data in the EU / EEA.

In some cases, this is not possible and data processors outside the EU / EEA can be used here if these can provide your personal data with appropriate protection.

Processing safety

We keep the processing of personal data secure by having put into place appropriate technical and organisational measures.

We make risk assessments of our processing of personal data and have subsequently introduced appropriate technical and organisational measures to increase the processing security.

One of our most important measures is to keep our employees updated on GDPR through
ongoing awareness training, GDPR courses, as well as by reviewing our GDPR procedures with employees.
