Every bite reflects their unwavering dedication to quality and craftsmanship." And Hart Bakery's cookies are at the centre of the collaboration between Hart Bakery and Nemco.
High quality must always be the same
You can already sense the quality when you walk through the door at Hart Bakery, and the place is buzzing with life and smells deliciously of bread and cakes. Hart Bakery was born out of the Noma Group in collaboration with Richard Hart in 2018. The basic idea "Elevate our craft" lives every day and is complemented by the desire to create the world's best bakery.
The first Hart Bakery was opened on Gl. Kongevej in Frederiksberg, and today there are 7 Hart Bakeries in Copenhagen. Most of the employees have been involved from the start. 35 people work in the production and bakery on Refshaleøen, and in total the company has 125 employees.
"Our motivation and mindset is basically that we must do better tomorrow, both in terms of product quality, employee satisfaction and the service experience we give our customers," says Mathias Lund Nyrup, CEO of Hart Bakery. "We're on a journey, and it's crucial for us to maintain the high quality in everything we do," says Mathias.
Cookies are the starting point for collaboration
Hart Bakery sells a lot of cookies, and to streamline production they have invested in a VEMAG Robot 500. "We chose a VEMAG because we can maintain quality, because there is consistency and because it simplifies the workflow for us.
Before the deal was finalised, we test drove the machine at Nemco's service centre in Viby together with Bjarne Hvolbøll from Nemco Machinery, says Mathias. "We brought the cookie dough with us, and we went through a test run that went exactly as we wanted," Mathias continues.
"The co-operation with Nemco and Bjarne is good. The test at Nemco's service centre was decisive and we have never at any point been sorry about our investment."

The machine offers more opportunities for optimisation
The starting point for the collaboration was the desire to optimise cookie production, but Hart Bageri's VEMAG Robot 500 is already being used for the production of remonce and kransekage. "In collaboration with Nemco, we are looking at other options, as the machine is versatile and the possibilities are many," says Mathias.
"VEMAG and the collaboration with Nemco is a beautiful example of how vision and development go hand in hand."
